Access2Care™ provides routine transportation services benefits with no charge to members enrolled in the plans listed below:

  • WellCare No Premium (San Francisco): 12 one-way trips to plan-approved locations per member per calendar year.
  • WellCare No Premium (Alameda, Los Angeles, Orange, Riverside, San Bernardino): 24 one-way trips to plan-approved locations per member per calendar year.
  • WellCare Specialty No Premium: 48 one-way trips to plan-approved locations per member per calendar year.
  • WellCare Dual Liberty: 60 one-way trips to plan-approved locations per member per calendar year.
  • WellCare Plus Sapphire I: 36 one-way trips to plan-approved locations per member per calendar year.
  • WellCare Plus Sapphire II: 60 one-way trips to plan-approved locations per member per calendar year.
  • WellCare Dual Liberty Amber: 60 one-way trips to plan-approved locations per member per calendar year.
  • WellCare No Premium Ruby: 12 one-way trips to plan-approved locations per member per calendar year.
  • WellCare Assist: 24 one-way trips to plan-approved locations per member per calendar year.

Additional benefits for all plans listed above:

  • Curb-to-curb or door-to-door service (depending on the member's needs).
  • Rideshare, taxi, standard passenger vehicle, minivan, and wheelchair van transportation.
  • Service to and from medical appointments.
  • No limitation on mileage within the service area.
  • Inclusion of one family member or caretaker on the transport at no additional cost.
  • Member may ask the driver to stop at a pharmacy from a physician’s office (not counted as a separate trip).

Access2Care's business hours for scheduled routine reservations are Monday through Friday, 8 a.m. to 8 p.m. Pacific time. Transportation services require at least 48 hours' advance notice. Access2Care is available 24 hours a day, seven days a week to schedule trips for both urgent care needs and immediate transportation needs.
