By signing the Enhanced Care Management Services Agreement with the Plan, the Enhanced Care Management (ECM) provider agrees to follow all ECM requirements established under applicable federal and state law, the DHCS-Managed Care Plan (MCP) contract, the current Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) CalAIM Enhanced Care Management Policy Guide, DHCS All Plan Letters and Behavioral Health Information Notices incorporated by DHCS guidance, and the Plan’s ECM policies, procedures, provider materials, and contractual requirements. If the Plan operational guidance differs from or is more specific than DHCS guidance, providers must follow the requirement that is most current and applicable, while DHCS minimum requirements remain controlling.
