26-411 Zelis Electronic Payment Launch Delayed

Date: 03/23/26

Rollout delayed – Prepare now for electronic payments

The launch of Zelis electronic claims payments, originally scheduled for April 1, 2026, has been delayed. A new launch date has not been identified at this time. We will communicate the updated effective date once it is determined.

What this means for you

  • Providers will continue to receive payments as they do today from Health Net.
  • No immediate action is required.

How to prepare for Zelis electronic payment options

  • Providers already enrolled in Zelis payments through ZAPP Edge (formerly ACH+) will see no change to their current payment setup.
  • Providers who are not yet enrolled will continue to receive claim payments through their existing payment method until further notice. However, to avoid potential payment delays, they are strongly encouraged to enroll in an electronic payment option now in preparation for the future launch.

Capitation payments unaffected

This update does not impact the financial configuration of monthly capitation per member per month payments.

What’s next

Additional details, including next steps and frequently asked questions, will be shared once the new launch timeline is finalized.
