Clarification for “Use Language Assistance Program to Meet Members’ Language Needs”
Please note, this update is to clarify the provider audiences and distribution date for provider updates 25-673 and 25-676, Use Language Assistance Program to Meet Members’ Language Needs, sent by fax, mail and email on July 11, 2025:
- 25-673 applies to physicians, participating physicians groups, ancillary providers, Community Supports providers, Enhanced Care Management providers, and behavioral health providers only. Hospitals may disregard the update.
- 25-676 applies to hospitals only. Physicians, PPGs, ancillary providers, Community Supports providers, Enhanced Care Management providers, and behavioral health providers may disregard this update. Additionally, this update was distributed on July 11, 2025. However, it incorrectly listed June 11, 2025, as the distribution date.
All other information included in updates 25-673 and 25-676 is correct.
