25-702 Does Your Hospital Have Adequate Supplies and Staff Levels?

Date: 07/10/25

Maintain contract compliance by immediately advising Health Net if your ability to deliver care is compromised

Establish a clear line of communication with the Plan

A clear line of communication with Health Net, on behalf of CalViva Health, is mandatory.

If a hospital’s capacity to provide complete care is compromised, including any facility issues or labor actions that may affect available resources, they are required to promptly notify their Provider Engagement Network Specialist (PENS).

This notification is essential for Health Net to be able to act and work to minimize any potential impact on patient care. Prioritizing these actions helps hospitals meet patient needs and maintain health care standards.

Hospitals must be vigilant in their efforts to assess and manage their resources effectively, as any shortfall in supplies or personnel can severely hinder their ability to deliver timely and effective health care services.
