Health Net, on behalf of Community Health Plan of Imperial Valley, has updated the Medi-Cal Provider Operations Manual to document the bidirectional data sharing and access requirements that Health Net and its Enhanced Care Management (ECM) and Community Supports (CS) providers have implemented since the start of the California Advancing and Innovating Medi-Cal (CalAIM) programs in 2022. The documents include terms and conditions on bidirectional data sharing and how to share and access data between Health Net and ECM providers or CS providers.
Locating the operations manual documents
Provider operations manuals are available electronically in the Provider Library on the provider portal > Provider Library under Quick Links. Or, go directly to Provider Library. Once in the Provider Library follow the below steps:
- Select Medi-Cal.
- Select Provider Manual on the left-hand side.
- Go to Quality Improvement > Quality Improvement Program, select either Community Supports Data Sharing and Access or Enhanced Care Management Data Sharing and Access document.
Per the ECM and CS Participating Provider Agreements (PPAs), we will communicate in advance of any future changes to the data sharing and access requirements, as necessary.
