24-417 New Claims Submission Information for Medi-Cal Behavioral Health Services

Use the appropriate address and payer ID to submit claims, based on the dates of service
Effective September 1, 2024, there will be a new claims submission address and payer ID for Medi-Cal behavioral health services. Behavioral health providers must submit Medi-Cal behavioral health services claims, based on the date of service, using the addresses and payer IDs listed below.
For claims with overlapping dates of service, providers must split the claim and submit two separate claims.

Be sure to register for an account with Health Net
If you haven’t already, you must create an account with Health Net to access certain functions on the secure provider portal, such as eligibility and benefit checks, and claims status. If you do not have an account, go to provider portal and select Create New Account, then follow the prompts until registration is complete.
