Tip Sheet to help physicians complete initial health appointments (IHA)

Refer to the Tips for Completing the New Member IHA tip sheet for the latest patient visit service codes when completing an initial health appointment (IHA) for Health Net members. An IHA includes a member's health history, risk identification, needed preventive services, health education, disease diagnoses, and treatment plans.

The IHA tip sheet also contains helpful tips, including requirements, exceptions and recommendations. The IHA tip sheet is available in the Provider Library, under the Education, Training and Other Materials section.
