24-205 Reminder: You Can Accept Members With Health Net Medicare and Commercial Plans in Kern County!

Although Health Net no longer offers a Medi-Cal product in Kern County, our Medicare and Commercial plans continue in the county.

As a contracting provider, you can accept Health Net members who have Medicare plans or Commercial plans, including Health Net HMO and PPO products.

Health Net’s Medi-Cal plan was the only Health Net product that left Kern County on January 1, 2024, so you can still see members with other Health Net plans.

Let providers know

Participating physician groups should inform downstream providers that they can see members with these Health Net Medicare and Commercial plans.
