Health Net is committed to ensuring accurate and timely reporting for HEDIS®1 Measurement Year (MY) 2024. Providers play a pivotal role in closing care gaps and improving patient outcomes. To make sure your supplemental data is included in MY 2024 reporting, it is vital to submit all new data by the deadlines listed below.

Data received after the submission deadlines will be applied to MY 2025 reporting.

Final submission (for  established sources): a file needs to be received on March 13, 2025, by the end of business day for final submission impact. Data files received after this date will not be utilized for the MY 2024 final run.

Why timely submission matters

Submitting your supplemental data on time is crucial for achieving the following outcomes:

  • Reflecting Patient Care Improvements: Your data directly supports quality measures that highlight care improvements.
  • Maximizing Your Contributions: Ensure your efforts are accurately recognized in the current reporting year.

Supplemental data categories and submission

Supplemental data sources fall into two categories for HEDIS, nonstandard and standard:

  • Nonstandard is data from manual chart collection and abstraction of the clinical medial record or from continuity of care document data.
  • Standard data is data extracted from billing systems, standardized back end electronic health record (EHR) data extractions, immunization registry and lab data.

Supplemental data must be submitted separately for the following sources:

  • Nonstandard supplemental data source for Align. Measure. Perform. (AMP) (Medicare Advantage and Commercial (Ambetter HMO/PPO, and Employer Group HMO/POS and PPO only).
  • Standard supplemental data sources (laboratory, EHR, immunizations).
  • Risk adjustment factor (RAF) alternative submission method (ASM) extract.
