Policies are listed on one page for easy access

Health Net’s payment policies are now viewable on a dedicated webpage on the publicly facing provider website. The policies are easy to find and display according to line of business or product.

Now, in addition to easy access to the Plan’s medical policies, you can also find the Plan’s payment policies at the same location at Health Net site > Resources For You.

A list of payment policies is no longer stored in the provider operations manual in the Provider Library.

Code editing overview policy added

The new payment policy webpage also now includes payment policy CC.PP.011, Code Editing Overview, which serves as a reference guide on general coding and claims editing information.

Additional information

Relevant sections of Health Net’s provider operations manuals have been revised to reflect the information contained in this update as applicable. Provider operations manuals are available electronically in the Provider Library on Health Net’s provider portal.
