Resources to help you care for your Medi-Cal members
The Medi-Cal provider materials supplement the Plan's operations manuals to assist you in understanding and adhering to policies and procedures in accordance with your Provider Participation Agreement (PPA).
View any of the materials listed below in two easy steps!
- Go to the provider website.
- Under Resources For You, select New Provider Welcome Packets > CalViva Health Medi-Cal New Provider Resources.
Use these materials to help you and your staff become familiar with the Medi-Cal line of business:
- Medi-Cal Operations Guide (PDF) – Gives an overview of the Medi-Cal managed care plan and includes basic information about public health programs, Medi-Cal services, physician responsibilities for coordinating patient care, and providing health services.
- Save Time Navigating the Provider Portal brochure (PDF) – Describes online functions and provides paths to submit claims, verify member eligibility, request prior authorization, get reports, search the Provider Library and access resources in the provider portal.
