A reproductive training conducted by Black Women for Wellness. The webinar will cover background on what reproductive justice is, the importance of incorporating social determinants of health into scope of practice toward Black women, and will equip providers with knowledge to help mitigate the Black maternal mortality disparity.

Objectives

• What reproductive justice is as it relates to providers and patients in a health care setting.
• What the Black maternal mortality disparity is in the U.S. and locally in Los Angeles.
• How to incorporate social determinants of health in a clinical setting to better serve Black birthing women.
• Practical steps to mitigate the disparity in Black maternal health in a clinical setting.

• Obstetric and Pediatric Providers located in Los Angeles
• Any other provider interested in learning about Reproductive Justice
