The Sacramento Housing Alliance is partnering with Health Net, one of California’s longest serving and most experienced Medi-Cal partners, to discuss Medi-Cal redeterminations and how this is impacting our communities.
Following its suspension during the pandemic, the Medi-Cal redetermination process (PDF) has resumed with county health agencies reviewing and verifying theeligibility of approximately 16 million current Medi-Cal members over the next 14 months.
According to California Department of Health Care Services (DHCS) estimates, up tothree million Californians may face changes in their coverage through this process.That’s why Health Net is working hard to ensure that members have the resourcesand information they need to secure their coverage.
In addition to representatives from the Sacramento Housing Alliance, this webinar will feature apresentation by Health Net's Senior Director for Strategy & Execution for Medi-Cal Mildred Pena, who isa subject matter expert on Medi-Cal and the redetermination process, as well as Sacramento CountyDepartment of Human Assistance Planning Manager Yevgeniy Kurdyumov.
