21-879 Reminder: Help Members Get Medical Supplies after Contract with Shield HealthCare Terminates

This information applies to Medi-Cal in Fresno, Kings and Madera counties.

Effective January 1, 2022, the Plan’s contract with Shield HealthCare will terminate

Shield HealthCare has elected to exercise its contract termination rights with the Plan.

Refer members to these vendors

Starting January 1, participating providers serving CalViva Health Medi-Cal members who obtain medical or incontinence supplies or durable medical equipment from Shield HealthCare should refer them to contracted providers or suppliers, such as Byram Healthcare or J&B Medical Supply:
