21-878 Reminder: Help Members Get Medical Supplies after Contract with Shield HealthCare Terminates

For Medi-Cal, this information applies to Kern, Los Angeles, Riverside, Sacramento, San Bernardino, San Diego, San Joaquin, Stanislaus, and Tulare counties.

Effective January 1, 2022, Health Net’s contract with Shield HealthCare will terminate

Shield HealthCare has elected to exercise its contract termination rights with Health Net.

Refer members to these vendors

Starting January 1, participating providers serving Health Net members who obtain medical or incontinence supplies or durable medical equipment from Shield HealthCare should refer them to contracted providers or suppliers, such as Byram Healthcare or J&B Medical Supply:
