Coverage for every stage of life™

The UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital Child and Adolescent Psychiatry Portal (CAPP) is expanding their pediatric psychiatry teleconsulting service to Medi-Cal members in Fresno County. CAPP currently provides support to over 400K youth in 18+ counties, at over 40 federally qualified health centers, as well as at many community and academic practices.

Benefits of using CAPP services

Some of the services CAPP offers:

  • Phone and e-consults with a child psychiatrist for case-specific help on mental health screening, assessment, diagnosis, and treatment plans.
  • Care navigation to help families connect with the right mental health resources and referrals.
  • Continuing medical education events and a newsletter.

Ages served

CAPP is intended to serve youth ages 0–21 years. CAPP may also consult on transitional youth up to age 24.
