20-796 Pharmacy Drive-Thru COVID-19 Testing at Walmart

Help members get tested at their select Walmart Neighborhood Market locations

Quest Diagnostics® is working with Walmart Neighborhood Markets to provide convenient pharmacy drive-thru COVID-19 testing for Health Net* members who meet Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC), state and local guidelines on who should be tested.

How to submit test requests

Submit a test order through Quest’s Quanum® Lab Services Manager or their electronic health record system using the on-hold feature and by selecting test code 39448.

Testing guidelines for patients

After the test order has been submitted, members must schedule an appointment through Quest Diagnostics.

Appointment times are available Monday – Friday, 9 a.m. to 4 p.m. (no testing between 1 and 2:30 p.m.).

Photo identification and face mask are required.

Testing administration

  • Patients administer the test in their own cars by observed self-collection.
  • Trained Walmart pharmacists observe testing through the pharmacy window, helping to ensure self-administered nasal swabs are done correctly.
  • Samples are deposited into an external collection box.
